Learn about the works of art in The Broad’s collection and exhibitions from artists and curators, and get a new perspective on The Broad’s award-winning architecture through self-guided audio tours. A special kids’ audio guide with Levar Burton inspires young art lovers to look, listen and learn. Free audio guide tours include:

  • “Voices of The Broad” – a tour featuring The Broad’s founders Eli and Edythe Broad, Founding Director Joanne Heyler, collection artists, and The Broad’s curators talking about artworks in the collection. This tour features commentary on works including Jasper Johns’s Flag, 1967; Barbara Kruger’s Untitled (Your body is a battleground), 1989; and Andy Warhol’s Small Torn Campbell's Soup Can (Pepper Pot).
  • “Looking with LeVar” – a kids’ audio tour, narrated by award-winning actor, director, and education advocate LeVar Burton. This tour includes Jean-Michel Basquiat’s Untitled, 1981; Jeff Koon’s Balloon Dog (Blue), 1994-2000; and Ellsworth Kelly’s Green Angle, 1970.
  • “The Broad Architecture Tour” – an architecture tour featuring Elizabeth Diller, partner-in-charge at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the firm that designed The Broad. Diller describes the key aesthetic and structural features of the museum.
