Live Virtual Art Week for Families + Kids | Day 2
Overview
On the second day of The Broad's virtual art-making week, Spring into The Broad, join Greetings from South Central’s founder Karina Esperanza Yanez for an art-making activity inspired by Oscar Murillo’s artwork trade today (2014–2015) from the Broad collection.
During this free virtual workshop, you and your family will create three mixed media banners using a variety of everyday materials, such as paper straws, coins, and paint, to make multi-layered, expressionistic marks.
A facilitator will show the artwork that inspired the activity, live from the museum, and participants will have the opportunity to share their creations with each other from home.
